Having closed the catalogues for its opening sales of the year at Race Retro, Silverstone Auctions has confirmed it will be offering 30 fantastic competition cars and a wide selection of motorsport memorabilia on Friday 23rd February.
Then, ensuring it continues to support vendors and buyers by only offering the best cars available, 70 classic cars and modern sports cars, nine motorcycles and almost 150 watches and automobillia lots will go under the hammer in an epic one-day only sale on Saturday 24th February.
Confirming the schedule of the sales, Nick Whale, managing director of Silverstone Auctions, says: “We’re delighted with both the quality and quantity of cars we’ve consigned to our Race Retro sales and it’s shaping up to be an incredibly exciting start to the year."
“We strive to give our vendors and buyers the very best possible experience and with this in mind, we’ve capped the number of entries on offer to host a single day, but larger classic car sale on the Saturday, in addition to our competition car sale on the Friday. The quality of the cars on offer is incredibly impressive and the focused one-day sale is expected to generate a fantastic atmosphere, some fierce bidding as well as simplified logistics for visitors. With such an exciting day in prospect, we look forward to welcoming everyone to the event.”
Visitors to Race Retro on Sunday will still be able to view many cars within the auction hall as well as discuss the potential purchase of any unsold auction lots.
