Bought in boxes, the car had been off the road since 1993. Rebuild commenced in Jan 2020 to comply with the HSCC 70s Roadsports. The car was built in the space of 7 months in a single garage at home and made its debut at the Oulton Park Gold Cup in August 2020.
To match the 70s vibe, the car was finished in classic Repsol Orange.

The car proves to be very competitive with its lightweight body and independent double wishbone suspension. Best results this year being 2nd overall at both Donington and Silverstone National.
I would certainly recommend the Vixen as an excellent 70s Roadsports car with its incredibly well balanced handling it’s a joy to drive and very forgiving. The 70s Roadsports is a fantastic opportunity to race with a great bunch of drivers where you can have fun on and off the track. It can be very cost effective for people wanting to build a car at home to compete and be competitive!
