Iconic Auctioneers to Deliver Biggest Ever Race Retro Auction
Iconic Auctioneers returns to Race Retro this February with its largest auction programme ever staged at the show, expanding beyond its established car sales to include a major automobilia offering and the first-ever motorcycle auction at Race Retro. This year's auction spans across all three days.
Competition & Collectors’ Cars Take Centre Stage

The Competition and Collectors’ Car Sale, taking place on Saturday 21 February, will feature around 100 competition and collectors’ cars, carefully curated to reflect Race Retro’s strong motorsport focus.
Leading the entries is the ex-Erik Comas Renault 5 Turbo ‘Superproduction’, one of the most important French touring cars of the 1980s. Driven by Comas to secure the 1987 French Supertouring Championship at Pau-Arnos, the car headlines a selection of significant ’80s race and rally machinery.
Also among the highlights are four cars from Richard Hammond’s personal collection, including a 1979 Ford Escort RS2000 Mk2, 1972 MG B GT Race Car, 2006 MINI Cooper S (R53) DriveTribe and a 1933 Riley 14/6 Alpine Tourer.

A major highlight is a single-vendor collection of more than 350 museum-quality automobilia items from the estate of the late Robin Haigh. Offered largely without reserve, this exceptional collection represents one of the most comprehensive enthusiast-led automobilia sales seen at Race Retro in recent years.
Items include rare signage, posters, private registration plates and motorsport memorabilia, with bidding available in person, online, by phone or via commission.
