If your everyday car has power assisted steering then why should it not be possible to have it on your classic car as well?

The system offered has been specifically designed and calibrated for the TR 4, 5 & 6 models. It is a mechanical hydraulic type, which is the driver’s choice, as it gives maximum feel and feedback from the steering. Our system uses modern components which add precision to the engineering of the parts and the feature of ‘falling rate’; this means that maximum assistance is available at low engine revs and vehicle speed (needed for manoevering) but much less assistance as engine revs and road speed rise bringing the benefit much less hard work in steering the car but still all the enjoyment of driving it.
The system is ‘bolt on’ with no cutting, wiring or welding necesary, just simple spanner work. And easily fitted by the competent DIY mechanic.
The fitment of power assisted steering compliments the standard car and further enhances the fitment of modern upgrades thus improving the balance, handling and the way it changes direction, steers, grips and entertains. Oversize wheels and tyres with modern rubber compounds can now be fitted without the penalty of heavier steering.
