How can I prepare for the motorsport season at Race Retro?

What motorsport legends can I see at Race Retro?

Every year Race Retro welcomes some of the biggest names in motorsport, from Formula 1 heroes to rally icons and touring car champions. Recent guests have included:

Is Race Retro family Friendly

Yes! With iconic cars on display, club stands, and the unmissable Live Rally Action on Saturday & Sunday, there’s something for fans of all ages. Kids (5–15) enjoy discounted tickets, and under-5s go free, making it a great day out for the whole family. Plus, our historic karts have their own dedicated track, the perfect way to inspire the next generation into motorsport (it’s how so many F1 legends began their careers!).

Can I buy a classic car or bike at the show?

Yes – over 300 vehicles are available to buy. You’ll find:

  • The Iconic Auctioneers' competition & classic car sale, alongside bikes and memorabillia
  • Dealers
  • A wide range of price points and styles

Is parking free at Race Retro?

Yes, parking is included with your ticket. If you’d like to be closer to the action, VIP parking upgrades are available for added convenience.

When is the live rally action at Race Retro?

The rally stages run Saturday and Sunday only. Over 120 rally cars from WRC, Group A and Group B take to the track, with drivers – including former champions – showing exactly what these machines can do. Expect Audi Quattros, Lancia 037, and other icons tearing up the tarmac. It’s loud, fast, and unforgettable.

Q: When is the show?
A: The show runs for three days, Friday to Sunday,  and will next take place 20-22 February 2026.

Q: What are the show opening times?
A: Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm
    Saturday 9.30am – 5.30pm
    Sunday 9.30am – 4.30pm

Q: Can children come to the show? 
A: Yes. The show is an event for all the family and welcomes all ages. All visitors must have a ticket. Children over 5 must purchase a ticket. Children under 5 can enter the show for free but must be included when booking to receive a ticket. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

​Q: Are dogs allowed at the show?
A: Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed entry at the show, other than assistance dogs.

Q: Is there a charge to look around the Iconic Auctioneers Saleroom?
A: Yes. In addition to your show entry ticket, you will need to purchase an auction catalogue to enter the auction. The cost of a catalogue is £20 and admits 2 people. Find out more about the auction here.

Q: What day is the outdoor Live Rally Stage in action?
A: The Live Rally Stage, hosted by Rallying with Group B, operates on the Saturday and Sunday of the show. 

​Q: How do I book a Rally passenger ride?
A: Passenger rides are only available on the Saturday and Sunday of the show when the Live Rally Stage is operating. These cannot be booked in advance and are available on a first-come first-served basis on the day. You will experience approximately two laps of the rally stage and the cost is £30.00. Simply head to the Rallying with Group B stand at the show to book your slot.

Accessibility

Q: Is there a separate entrance for disabled visitors?
A: Disabled visitors can enter the site through Gate 1 and must have their disabled badge to gain access to designated disabled parking (disabled parking is subject to availability).

​Q: Is there disabled parking available on site?
A: A specific car park has been designated for disabled visitors who may use it free of charge, subject to the display of their blue disabled parking permits via the public car park.

Q: Will there be interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing?
A: We are unable to provide interpreter services this year.

Q: Is there access for caravans/motorhomes?
